With Les Ocres, the French Single Malt whisky Coperies ventures into the field of maturing in different types of barrels. After its usual aging in French oak barrels, its malt distillates are finished separately in different French fortified wine barrels (Pineau des Charentes, Maury...), then blended. Les Ocres have the characteristic roundness of Coperies from its double distillation in Distillerie Merlet & Fils’ pot stills, to which is added exquisite notes of candied fruit due to its maturation. A beautiful French Single Malt, from its barley to its finishing barrels!
